USHL Prospect Alert- Ryan Dzingel

For this article, I'll be taking a break from talking about immediate NHLers. I'm looking forward to next season when Ryan Dzingel (LIN) has a chance to take over as one of the league's leading scorers. He has the instincts to be a great scorer, he sees the ice well and I can only imagine that he will be an even better player next season. All indications point to Dzingel playing another season in the USHL and then moving on to college. Ryan is great on the powerplay and the penalty kill which attests to his work ethic. On the powerplay, he has the assets to work the puck around the zone. Also, he can get open and once he has the puck, he takes great shots. But, when he's out on the penalty kill, he really shines. Dzingel's back checking ability is unbelievable and he's not afraid to get down in the shooting lanes and block shots. Just the fact that Lincoln coach Jimmy McGroarty puts Dzingel out on the PK as a rookie really speaks to his skills. Dzingel is under the radar, and not many people talk about him, but he has a very bright USHL future, but possibly an even brighter professional future.

Keep it clean, and don't attack individual players.
